As a licensed clinical social worker, I offer telehealth therapy services to young adults, adults and older adults in the New York/New Jersey area, and in-person sessions at my office in New York City.

In my practice, I will support you during emotional pain, but also in your desire to grow, find better ways to cope with stressful situations, and ultimately free yourself from the patterns, stories and obstacles that hold you back.

I believe that it is times of struggle that can lead to the greatest personal growth. In the session, I will ask you to breathe, invite you to feel, and to consider your life in a new way.

My Professional Background and Training

My background is over a decade of clinical experience at Jewish Family Service of MetroWest NJ in Florham Park, where I counselled individuals, couples and families and was the Clinical Group Liaison where I was in charge of and facilitated support groups. Since April 2016, I have been the owner of my own private practice located in the Cedar Knolls/Morristown area. In the summer of 2021, I moved my office to NYC at 445 Park Avenue to expand my practice to NY, but I continue to offer services to clients in NJ, particularly in Morris, Essex and Sussex counties.

My early clinical specialization was in mind/body therapy, followed by advanced training in Internal Family Systems which is a trauma therapy and an approach that helps remove emotional obstacles that people can face, in a humane, non-judgmental way. Recent training has been with Pia Mellody in Addictions and Codependence, and with Terry Real in Couples and Relationship Counseling. I have also completed Level I training at the PACT Institute, which is a psychobiological approach to couples therapy, with Dr. Stan Tatkin, and Level one of Psychodrama training at the Hudson Valley Psychodrama Institute in NY.
